Compliance & Disclosures
Trust Center
We built VzortStrategies to make surplus funds recovery simple, transparent, and low-stress. This page explains how our service works, what we do (and don't) do, and how you can protect yourself from scams.
Not a Government Agency
VzortStrategies is a private surplus funds recovery service. We are not affiliated with any federal, state, county, or court agency. We do not represent a government office, and we do not claim to be an official source of public records.
You Can File on Your Own
You are not required to hire a recovery service. In many jurisdictions, you may pursue surplus funds directly through the appropriate government or court process at no cost. Many people choose professional support due to time constraints, documentation requirements, and procedural complexity.
No Guarantees
Every claim is different. Eligibility, timelines, and outcomes depend on jurisdiction rules, documentation, competing claims, and review timelines. We cannot guarantee that funds exist or that a claim will be approved.
Contingency-Based Fees (No Upfront Fees)
We generally work on a contingency basis: if there is no recovery, there is no fee. If your claim is approved and funds are recovered, our fee is a percentage of the recovered amount as outlined in your written agreement before work begins.
Pass-Through Costs (If Applicable)
Some claims may require third-party costs such as record retrieval, notarization, mailing, or filing fees depending on the jurisdiction. If any costs apply, they will be disclosed clearly in writing before you proceed.
Attorney Coordination
We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice. When a claim requires legal filings, court appearances, probate handling, or other legal services, we coordinate with licensed attorneys as appropriate based on the jurisdiction and case needs.
Privacy & Communication Consent
By submitting your information, you authorize us to contact you by phone, email, and text regarding your eligibility and next steps. We handle client information confidentially and use it only for evaluation and claim support.
🛡️ Scam Prevention
Be cautious of anyone who:
- Claims they are "the government" or a court official
- Demands upfront payment to "release" funds
- Refuses to provide a written agreement
- Pressures you to sign immediately
If you ever feel unsure, request a verification-first call. We'll explain how the process works and what to look for before you commit.
📋 What We Typically Need to Get Started
Requirements vary by jurisdiction, but most claims require:
- Government-issued photo ID
- Proof of prior ownership (deed, mortgage statement, closing docs, etc.)
- Supporting court/case details when available
- If filing as an heir: documents supporting your relationship and authority
